Hangover Cure – I DON’T PLAY

I cannot take full credit for this, I just wanna throw that out there. One weekend night Taylor was out of town, I had plans with some girlfriends to grab drinks, and my mother in law was going to take Sabine overnight. I was so looking forward to it, and then my mother in law had to cancel. My mom stepped in and said she could watch Sabine while I went out with the girls but could not take her overnight. I was really looking forward to letting my mom hair down and getting pretty lit so I was bummed. That being because being hungover with a baby is……..absolute hell. Especially if you have no one for back up. So, I went to the Moms Friends group on Facebook (if you’re a mom I’m not kidding it’s so great, you should join) and asked if anyone had any hangover tips. Lots of things flooded in but nothing I hadn’t tried before. Then, a girl told me she had perfected the hangover cure while being in Nursing school. I WAS THERE FOR IT. Now, let me warn you it IS a bit extensive but I’m telling you it WORKS. Especially for you parents out there that cant spend the entire next day decaying on the couch nursing a hangover, this is for you. 

Before drinking:

  • 1 Activated Charcoal (can find at your local Whole Foods, this is KEY)
  • 1 Vitamin C

After drinking:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 spoonful of peanut butter
  • 1 full glass of water
  • 1 regular sized Gatorade
  • 2 Activated Charcoal
  • 1 Multivitamin
  • 2 Advil

If you want to condense it you can cut out the banana and peanut butter but I would keep everything else. It has saved me countless times, and it could save you from a gnarly hangover too!
